General Rules and Regulations

Annually, the Lambda Pi Zeta Chapter strives to award-worthy students who are in pursuit of higher education, participate in volunteer programs that improve the individual and community, and engage in activities that will aid in the educational development of all people.

Once you had read all the criteria that best suits you, please click the apply button below to access the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Lambda Pi Zeta Scholarship packet. The packet contains the scholarship application, eligibility requirements, and guidelines for submitting an application.

The deadline for submitting scholarship applications this year is Tuesday, March 1, 2022 AT 5:00 P.M. PCT.

High School Applicants - up to $1000

Must be a graduating high school senior
The high school must reside in the South Bay area.
Must have a grade point average (G.P.A.) of 2.8.
Must send official transcripts to LPZScholarship1920@gmail.com (Only transcripts submitted by high school official will be accepted)
Must send three professional letters of recommendation
Submit a 500-word essay on the importance of scholarship in future college endeavors.

Undergraduate - Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated Applicants - $1000

Must at being enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university/college in 2021
Must have a grade point average (G.P.A.) of 2.8.
Must be a financially active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Send official electronic transcript to LPZScholarship1920@gmail.com, ATTN: Marlene Tweedy
Must send three professional letters of recommendation
Submit a 500-word essay on the importance of scholarship in future college endeavors.

Majorie Bryant Memorial Scholarship - up to $400

Must be a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Lambda Pi Zeta Chapter or a member of a sponsored auxillary.
Must be used for educational opportunities
Must be financially active member on all levels

TO APPLY: Please create a google email account on www.google.com. If you do not, you will not have access to complete the scholarship application.

All applications and related materials become Zeta Phi Beta Sorority's property, Incorporated; Lambda Pi Zeta Chapter.

The number of scholarships will be determined by the scholarship fund budget and the Scholarship Committee with the approval of the Chapter.
